To help counter the increasing burden of crime, from vandalism and theft to personal threat and terrorism, Sawley have developed FlexiGard™, a flexible and portable warning system that can be installed and commissioned in minutes and without the need for mains services.
This affordable system meets stringent regulations with regard to safety and radio interference, is extremely simple to operate and does not require a radio licence in the UK.
Instant set-up
Extremely portable
Simple to use
No licence required to own and operate
Modular expansion
Weatherproof
Remote manning options
Temporary or permanent protection
At the heart of the FlexiGard™ system is a re-chargeable command module which monitors, arms and controls a system of up to 14 independent zones. It can operate up to
24 hours between charging and 500 metres from the furthest detector.
Warnings can be received silently shown by LEDs, or the module can be instructed to sound an alarm or operate an auto-dialler. Other functions include system checks and individual detector battery status.
The system is very flexible allowing operators to instantly configure a system for virtually any application. Both overt and covert applications are catered for. There is a choice
of weatherproof detector types, including short range PIR (35m detection range), long range AIR (100m detection range), wire-break and pressure sensitive units.
Units can be free-standing or sub-mounted onto walls, poles, stands, cones or built into special enclosures either as camouflage or as part of a more complex security system linked to CCTV, audio and other sensing and recording devices.
Detection heads will run for up to 6 months using internal batteries or can be fitted with
a number of other options including wire-break and pressure sensors.
Sawley work closely with security personnel in many organisations to ensure components and systems continue to operate effectively in all specified environments.
Feasibility studies and special projects are also undertaken for individuals and organisations where pre-commissioning evaluation and new-type approval is required.
