A food delivery company was having problems, with diesel fuel being stolen from the yard storage tank and vehicle fuel tanks. A Flexiguard system was installed, with sensors covering the tank and the vehicles, and with the base station on an autodialler telephone link to a local security firm. After three alerts, intruders were caught on site, though slow Police response meant no arrests. The security officer was, however, able to hold on to the equipment they were using to steal the fuel and since then, there have been no further attempts at theft.
