An agricultural equipment company has very large premises, located in the countryside, and with long boundaries against a semi-public aerodrome. The company used two security officers: one to secure the main office building, and one to patrol the outbuildings, warehouses and perimeter fences. A Flexigard system was installed, with dual beam detectors used along the length of the perimeter fencing. This has allowed the company to reduce their guarding costs, by cutting down to just one security officer. Now the sole officer guards the offices in person, and monitors the security of the rest of the site via Flexigard.
